Important Note:
Customers enrolled in the Internet Assistance Program can only receive the 100 Mbps or 1 Gig internet service at the discounted rate. Any higher speed plans or products (like WiFi equipment) will be charged at full price in addition to the IAP pricing.
Example: If a customer has 100 Mbps with a WiFi router, the monthly charge will be $14.95 (100 Mbps internet) + $12.95 (single family home WiFi router) = $27.90/month total.

The Internet Assistance Program is available to qualifying households who participate in any of the following programs:
- Lifeline (must provide confirmation email showing approval)
- Head Start (enrollees with free or reduced lunch enrollment)
- Medicaid-MSP or SLMB (specified low-income Medicare beneficiary)
- Note: Medicare alone is not qualifying; Medicare is medical coverage for 65+ or under 65 with a disability regardless of income
- Veterans Pension or Survivors Pension
- Section 8 (Federal public housing assistance) and HUD
- WIC
- SNAP (Food Stamps)
- Federal Pell Grant awards
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Note: SSI is different from Social Security Income. Social Security Income alone is not a qualifying benefit
- SVVSD Education Benefit (free and reduced lunch with income-qualifying benefits)
- Only households receiving free and reduced lunch due to having Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, and FDPIR will be approved
- Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) Properties
- Residents living in an LHA-owned property are eligible for the discount
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
How do I apply?
Application Requirements:
Step 1: Gather Required Documentation
You will need two forms of documentation:- Government-issued photo ID
- Proof of program enrollment
- Your signature
- State-issued driver’s license
- U.S. Military ID
- Passport
- Individual Taxpayer ID Number Document
- Matricula Consular ID
- Must show current enrollment in one of the qualifying programs listed above
- Must include your current information, full name, home address, and coverage effective dates
- Must show active approval within the program
- Note: Benefit ID cards alone are not acceptable forms of proof
- All documentation must be clear, readable, showing valid dates, and from the individual applying
